GB Cyclist Lewis Oliva OM 03-10 carries the Queen's Baton Relay on the first lap around Monmouth playing field.
The relay around a 400m circuit was part of a worldwide tour of the baton ahead of Australia’s Gold Coast Games next year, and visited Monmouth School as part of its week-long journey through Wales.

The baton will travel across Wales over four days in September ahead of the Gold Coast games in April 2018.

On Friday 14th October Old Monmothians from 2016 leavers to 1948 gathered for the annual London Dinner very kindly hosted by Haberdashers' Hall.
For the 2016 OMs this is the first time leavers have attended a London dinner the same year they left the school.
